We ask for a donation of €3,50 towards the cost of maintaining the garden,
On all days we will serve light refreshments, such as cakes and sandwiches, but on special food event days we will also serve a tempting three course meal, freshly made on the premises. Full meals need to be ordered in advance, please contact us to conult on the menu and dietary requirements.
We are happy to welcome groups to the garden by prior arrangement, minimum number 10 adults. Different rates for entrance apply, please enquire. Group visits can take place on any day, subject to agreement and availability.
Access to Jardín Alpujarra. The garden is situated on a small road leading from Pórtugos to Atalbéitar. The road is steep and narrow. Vehicle access to the garden is possible in a car or minibus. If your group is large and will arrive in a conventional sized bus then this can stop at the top of the of the lane, by the pertrol garage on the main road. From here you will need to walk the 250 metres to the garden. If anyone has moblity issues it may be possible to arrange a lift for a limited number of people in a car - to be arranged in advance.
Refreshments are available for groups if ordered in advance. We can supply drinks, cakes, light snacks or lunches - please enquire at time of booking.
The garden can be booked for private funcions and events. We welcome use by groups of photographers, artists and walkers who are looking for a point of interest to include in a walk - we are located within 200 metres of the GR7 footpath as it passes from Pitres to Atalbéitar. As usual, refreshments can be arranged for visitors to the garden.
