Summer concert July 14th 2018

An evening of music and a chance to enjoy a stroll in the garden with a glass of something delightful in your hand.  This event was held in conjunction with Acompalia Paliative Care and we raised more than €400 for this worthwhile local charity.

The Songbirds at Jardín de la Alpujarra

Approximately 120 people attended this delightful event; Jardín de la Alpujarra was open from 18.00 so that the guests could enjoy a stroll around the garden.  Drinks were available along with some terrific bites to eat.  The music started at 20.00 with the fabulous Songbirds delivering a mixed repertorie of well known melodic classics.  This was followed by a short interval and then Ensemble Vargas enthralled us wth their excellent and atmospheric renditons of Spanish boleros.  The concert finished shortly before 22.00 afterwhich the only sound in the garden was the singing of the nightingales.  More information about the groups, the garden and the charity can be found below.

We hope to see you for our concert in 2019.
